SHOCK ABSORBERS
SAFELINK Shock Absorbers, under the product name Hercules, are the optimum protection for your crane, rigging and piling hammer from dynamic force peaks, which for example can occur during pile run (pile run protection).
The SAFELINK Shock Absorbers are executed with active controlled quick lift (ACQ), which is a novel lifting functionality, that can significantly increases the lifting speed during critical lifts.
The shock absorbers can execute 20 quick lift operations without the need to recharge and have a very wide range of payloads without the need for adjustments, making it very efficient, user-friendly and cost effective.
PASSIVE HEAVE COMPENSATORS
SAFELINK Passive Heave Compensators (PHC) are rugged and very easy to use. All PHC units combine a gas spring (nitrogen) with hydraulic damping (oil) to smoothen out the dynamic effects of waves and vessel motions.
The PHC’s offer excellent performance for topside and subsea applications, where the dynamic challenges can be reduced significantly by shock absorption, constant tension or overload protection.
PHC’s are also available in adaptive execution, where the PHC has the ability to adapt its settings to various environments.
INLINE ACTIVE HEAVE COMPENSATORS
The SAFELINK Inline Active Heave Compensator (IAHC) is a hook-based, self-contained, mobile system offering a high degree of flexibility without requiring a permanent AHC installation on the crane.
It operates autonomously and can be set up, controlled, or overridden via a handheld tablet with wireless communication redundancy.
The IAHC solution provides active motion compensation for all types of structures, regardless of geometry or mass. The IAHC can be used to unload components at sea by a WTIV from a feeder barge during offshore wind farm installation or for the installation of secondary steel from a Heavy lift Vessel (HLV).
