The unique Z-Bridge Bring-to-Work (B2W) system is a light weight, fully active motion compensated offshore access system, designed to transfer personnel & cargo from vessel deck to an offshore structure in a safe and efficient manner.
This innovative B2W system is the lightest system available in the market, is easy to mobilize and provides direct access to height. It accommodates flexible landing heights, ranging from 8m up to 21 m above the vessels deck, without the need of any heavy and costly pedestal structure.
With it’s very small footprint and weighing only 27.5 mT, the system is suitable to operate on small vessels, such as CTV’s and mini SOV’s, and on larger vessels, such as normal SOV’s, HLV’s and other DP2 vessels.
The B2W system can transfer 6 persons or 1000kg per trolley run over the telescopic boom. In addition, the B2W system can also be used as a fully motion compensated crane.
The B2W system is designed, constructed and tested in compliance with the Bureau Veritas rules for certification of Offshore Access Systems; this includes a full system FMECA, performed under supervision of an independent third party.
The Z-Bridge offshore access system is proven technology, with many systems successfully in operation globally.

Due to it’s limited size and weight, the Z-Bridge Bring-to-Work (B2W) systems are also extremely suitable for deployment on smaller size vessels, like ‘mini SOV’s”, to bridge the gap between the CSOV’s and CTV’s. Underneath a few examples of application of the Z-bridge B2W system on DP-2 vessels with a vessel length between 50 and 60m.
