SAFELINK SHOCK ABSORBERS
SAFELINK shock absorbers are the optimum protection for your crane and piling hammer from dynamic force peaks, which for example can occur during pile run (pile run protection).
The SAFELINK shock absorbers are executed with active controlled quick lift (ACQ), which is a novel lifting functionality, that can significantly increases the lifting speed during critical lifts.
The shock absorbers can execute 20 quick lift operations without the need to recharge and have a very wide range of payloads without the need for adjustments, making it very efficient, user-friendly and cost effective.
STANDARD PASSIVE HEAVE COMPENSATION
Standard PHC units are rugged, easy to implement and very easy to use. It offers excellent performance for topside and subsea applications where the dynamic challenges can be reduced significantly by shock absorption, constant tension or overload protection.
ADAPTIVE PASSIVE HEAVE COMPENSATION
Safelink’s newest PHC units have an unbeatable interactive control system. We have transferred our knowledge about how PHC should work at different stages of marine operations and given the unit the ability to adapt to various environments. The units are just as rugged and easy to implement as standard PHC. It offers excellent performance for both topside and subsea applications – targeting all dynamic challenges with one single unit.
INLINE ACTIVE HEAVE COMPENSATION
The SAFELINK Inline Active Heave Compensator (IAHC) is a hook-based, self-contained, mobile system offering a high degree of flexibility without requiring a permanent AHC installation on the crane.
It operates autonomously and can be set up, controlled, or overridden via a handheld tablet with wireless communication redundancy.
The IAHC solution provides active motion compensation for all types of structures, regardless of geometry or mass. The IAHC can be used to unload components at sea by a WTIV from a feeder barge during offshore wind farm installation.
