BONDURA TECHNOLOGY
The bondura® pin technology is ingenious and simple. The pin itself is tapered at both ends. The conical sleeves with corresponding tapering are assembled and expand on the pin upon tightening, fixing the pin to the equipment.
The pins are designed and manufactured to customers specifications, based on patented and DNV GL Type Approved bondura® pin technology. The following different product types are available:
bondura® 6.6
The perfect choice where there are no obstacles close to the supports during installation or retrieval of the pin.
bondura® 6.0
The perfect choice when you need to perfectly center two bores, typically in two adjacent plates.
bondura® 6.1
The perfect choice when you have no access or visibility to one of the sides, but full access to the other during installation and retrieval of the pin.
bondura® 6.2
The perfect choice when you have obstacles at one side only close to the support and the other side is free, during installation and retrieval of the pin.
bondura® 3.3
The perfect choice when you need to minimize your installation and retrieval time.
bondura® Dual36
The perfect choice when you need to lock the pin assembly not only to the equipment supports, but also to center area in a fixed joint.
bondura® Dual66
The perfect choice when you need to lock the pin assembly not only to the equipment supports, but also to the bearing in a moveable joint.
bondura® LMP
is a uniquely designed pin for load monitoring. Available for 3 different types of bondura® PIN types.
bondura® BX
is a straightforward and economical solution for smaller dimension joints. The solution requires enough space on one side to install the load bearing pin into the support bore, and the end-sleeve, plate and fastening details at the other.
bondura® 2.0
bondura® Tower Crane PIN type 2.0 is a new design made specifically for the joints connecting the sections of a tower mast. This solution is uniquely simple and quick to install and dismantle. The pin assembly consists of PIN, sleeve, nut and a spring cotter pin.

bondura® Multi Tool
The bondura® Multi Tool is a special tool for gentle and easy removal of conical sleeves and pin, which is available for different pin diameter ranges. The bondura® Multi Tool is available for both purchase and rental.

bondura® Multi Tool 070 includes all components to disassemble bondura® pins with diameter:
Ø44mm – Ø135mm
Multi Tool 140
bondura® Multi Tool 140 includes all components to disassemble bondura® pins with a diameter:
Ø140mm – Ø195mm.
Multi Tool 200
bondura® Multi Tool 200 includes all components to disassemble bondura® pins with a diameter:
Ø200mm – Ø320mm.
Multi Tool 400
bondura® Multi Tool 400 includes all components to disassemble bondura® pins with a diameter:
Ø325mm – Ø500mm.
NEW EQUIPMENT
The bondura® technology makes it possible to use larger assembly tolerances, when new equipment is being manufactured as assembly play can be built in the design as it will be absorbed by tightening the bondura® assembly. This will result in easier & quicker assembly of equipment and an extremely solid connection, avoiding future play.
bondura® Load Monitoring Pin (LMP)
bondura pins can also be executed with Load Monitoring.
The Load Monitoring Pin (LMP) contains a combination of a specially designed bondura expanding pin solution with the high quality load monitoring electronics from Strainstall.
The combined bondura – Strainstall Load Monitoring Pin solution has both DNV GL Type Approval and ABS PDA certificate.
SERVICE & REPAIR
The bondura® pin is suited for both new and used equipment. It’s eliminates play and can compensate some of the ovality that might have occurred caused by wear and tear and general pounding.
